Sr Project Engineer - Heavy Haul & Lifting

About the Role

This role provides senior-level technical expertise in the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of engineered lifting and hauling systems used in construction projects. You will coordinate complex engineering efforts and collaborate effectively with construction operations to ensure safe and compliant execution of field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of temporary works systems, including lifting frames and rigging assemblies.
• Coordinate closely with construction operations to ensure safety and constructability.
• Manage projects including design, fabrication, and testing of rigging products.
• Provide peer reviews and technical oversight for temporary works designs.
• Support bid-phase efforts by identifying construction sequencing considerations.
• Mentor junior engineers in rigging engineering and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and engineering drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and rigging fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
