About the Role
The Project Procurement Manager will be responsible for project procurement and administration, providing negotiation and high-risk/legal support. This role interfaces with multiple teams and is critical for ensuring that contracts are adhered to and issues are resolved efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement with identification of mandatory and recommended prime contract flow-down clauses.
- Review project contract templates for adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.
- Provide as-needed training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions.
- Negotiate high-risk contracts for various projects.
- Resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Construction or related field.
- Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects.
- Legal training or transactional/commercial management experience preferred.
- 8+ years negotiation experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership and coaching skills.
