Project Procurement Manager - Industrial

About the Role

The Project Procurement Manager will be responsible for project procurement and administration, providing negotiation and high-risk/legal support. This role interfaces with multiple teams and is critical for ensuring that contracts are adhered to and issues are resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement with identification of mandatory and recommended prime contract flow-down clauses.
• Review project contract templates for adherence to project requirements.
• Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.
• Provide as-needed training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions.
• Negotiate high-risk contracts for various projects.
• Resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects.
• Legal training or transactional/commercial management experience preferred.
• 8+ years negotiation experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong leadership and coaching skills.
