Project Controls Intern - Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (Summer 2027)

About the Role

As a Project Controls Intern, you will assist in troubleshooting project conditions, accounting data entry, performing financial projections, and providing HR support. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about financial management within an engineering context.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with the cost control system.
• Help analyze construction costs including production of cost and labor reports.
• Drive compliance programs including employment and environmental regulations.
• Maintain compliance with taxes and accounting policies.
• Administer contracts including documentation for subcontracts and material contracts.
• Involve in project office setup.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA above 3.0 preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial terms and calculations.
• Experience with project controls software such as Excel and Primavera preferred.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
