Entry Electrical Designer

About the Role

This role offers a chance to work within a multidisciplinary design team focused on engineering assignments related to transit rail. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in creating detailed design plans and technical reports utilizing advanced design software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a multidisciplinary design team for transit rail projects.
• Develop preliminary and final design plans for transit rail systems.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate concepts and make recommendations.
• Use design software like MicroStation and AutoCAD for engineering tasks.
• Produce electrical engineering plan sets and project schedules.
• Assist in leading designers on various projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in CAD, 3D modeling, or a similar program.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in computer-aided design or drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
