Entry Civil Designer - Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers

About the Role

As part of the Digital Delivery and Rail & Transit Systems Production team, you will support our Infrastructure Design Department in delivering innovative solutions across multiple disciplines. This role involves working on design efforts that will support design build infrastructure projects nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design plans, technical reports, and documentation for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop design plans and details.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate concepts and provide recommendations.
• Utilize civil engineering design software like MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Produce documents using Microsoft Office products.
• Follow applicable standards and assist in leading design projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer-aided design or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a CAD, modeling, or drafting role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Familiar with Civil 3D and Bentley design software.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
