BIM Specialist

About the Role

As a BIM Specialist at Kiewit, you will drive complex project tasks demanding expertise in various software solutions and the integration of discipline workflows. This role is designed for CAD technicians, engineering specialists, and architectural designers looking to enhance their skills in multi-disciplinary modeling for design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your academic background in design technology and AEC workflows.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of modeling and multidiscipline coordination techniques.
• Monitor ongoing projects for errors and enforce model/drawing cleanup.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to maintain accurate BIM models.
• Share your expertise by teaching design technology skills to engineers and architects as needed.
• Ensure adherence to established standards by project teams.

Requirements

• Relevant Associate or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• 1+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Basic Revit and Navisworks skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adjust to varying demands of work.
• Keen attention to detail and proficiency with design technology.
