Wellness Specialist Sr

About the Role

The Wellness Specialist Sr will synthesize wellness report findings, including labs, exercise, diet, and sleep behaviors, into an annual consultation with the patient. This role requires critical thinking and independent decision-making in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Administers fitness testing, VO2 max, and spirometry testing in accordance with protocol.
• Completes pre-screen interview, identifies any physical limitations, reviews medications and blood pressures, making testing adjustments as needed.
• Verifies physician orders and performs testing based on patient goals.
• Meets with patients annually, combining various wellness reports to establish and maintain health goals.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement within the scope of the job.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• 6 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification valid through sixty days of hire.
