Medical Lab Scientist

About the Role

This onsite role requires you to perform laboratory testing of patient specimens and report test results. You will also engage in quality control, instrument maintenance, and serve as a resource to laboratory staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens.
• Interprets, documents, and reports test results.
• Performs quality control testing and instrument maintenance.
• Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
• Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• State licensure if required by law.
• Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
