Assumes an active role in the clinical education of patients, families, and staff. Functions effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication and mutual respect while delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care incorporating the nursing process.
• Communicate and advocate for patient values and preferences in care planning.
• Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise for optimal health care delivery.
• Utilize data to monitor outcomes and improve health care systems.
• Minimize risk of harm to patients through effective system and individual performance.
• Utilize information technology to facilitate communication and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• One year of nursing experience
• Registered Nurse License from a multistate compact
• Basic Life Support certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
