MRI Technologist I PRN

About the Role

This role requires performing MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to quality standards. The technologist will also manage communication with patients, families, and caregivers to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality imaging utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
• Assists Provider with procedures and maintains technologist Scope of Practice.
• Follows department policies and addresses safety concerns.
• Maintains competency in MRI safety and operation of equipment.
• Facilitates patient flow and management of high priority patients.
• Communicates clearly with patients and staff regarding procedures.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
• Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT-MR certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
