About the Role

Join our team as an Emergency Response Officer (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions
  • Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security
  • Perform regular patrols of the property and provide relief staffing for the gatehouse
  • Enforce all traffic and parking regulations
  • Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity
  • Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Prior experience in Emergency Medical Services or Security is preferred
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Current Emergency Medical Responder certification or the ability to acquire within 30 days of hire
  • Positive, proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approach
