Executive Chef

About the Role

Join Wind Crest as an Executive Chef and bring your passion for exceptional food, collaboration, and culinary excellence to a group of award-winning chefs and dining leaders. You will oversee food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within budget while supervising kitchen staff and maintaining sanitation and food safety standards. Compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and high-quality food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within budget
• Supervise all kitchen staff and oversee back-of-house systems, core menus, and recipe management
• Maintain kitchen and equipment sanitation and conduct monthly internal sanitation audits
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations (Health Dept./HACCP)
• Partner with the General Manager to resolve food production or presentation issues
• Maintain high standards for food quality and plate presentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience
• Fine dining experience a plus
• Knowledge of a la carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
