Respiratory Therapist Traveler

About the Role

This traveler position provides top of scope respiratory therapy in direct patient care at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital, managing ventilator integration and airway management across multiple levels of care. The role pays $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care delivering respiratory and pulmonary support
• Manages ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support and airway management across levels of care
• Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to UCHealth
• Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
• Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• One year of experience
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC
• ACLS certification
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date
