CT Xray Technologist I

About the Role

As a CT Xray Technologist I, you will provide conscientious patient care while adhering to quality and safety standards. This role also includes performing administrative duties and regular communication with patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality imaging demonstrating anatomy and pathology using diagnostic imaging protocols.
• Acts as first responder providing Basic Life Support (BLS) until help arrives.
• Verifies patient allergies and clinical indications prior to contrast administration and ensures proper documentation.
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written forms, following department guidelines for customer service.
• Follows established quality assurance/control (QA/QC) and safety programs as required by regulatory bodies.
• Maintains flexibility around shift scheduling and call requirements.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiography program
• Three years of imaging experience
• Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Certification as a Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT CT)
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
