A guided moderate hike (2 miles, some steep off-trail) to the top of Cherokee Mountain exploring the geology, weather and an archaeological site, plus the story of Douglas County's early settlers. Check-in 7:45am, hike 8-10:30am. Good hiking shoes and a liter of water recommended. Signed land waiver required; reservations non-refundable.
