About This Event

Cherokee Ranch & Castle Community Day, a free family day on the ranch in Sedalia, Sunday September 13 from 10am to 3pm. See the ranch, meet some of the cattle, take in the Front Range views, visit local vendors, grab a bite to eat and connect with Cherokee Ranch and SCFD partners along with Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance and the Douglas County Fair Foundation.

Free tickets are required. Admission is free but every guest must reserve a ticket in advance to enter the property. Tickets are issued in one-hour arrival windows: 10-11am, 11am-12pm, 12-1pm and 1-2pm. Your arrival window does not limit how long you stay; once inside you are welcome until the event ends at 3pm.

Please note: the castle interior is NOT open for tours or public access during Community Day. The event highlights the grounds, the cattle and the heritage of Cherokee Ranch & Castle.
