A Day at the Hilltop Schoolhouse

Step into an early-1900s school day at the historic 1898 Hilltop Schoolhouse (5748 Flintwood Rd) — the only public building still standing from Hilltop, the old railroad-stop town between Parker and Elizabeth. The Hilltop Social Club celebrates America's 250th and Colorado's 150th with a mini-Hilltop Market, antique and vintage cars and a fire truck, a WWII Victory quilt silent auction, colonial, pioneer and turn-of-the-century games, the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, Elizabeth-area animal rescues, Rose's Creamery food truck and local authors. Wear red, white and blue or vintage attire. Free to attend; some gift and food items for sale.
