Hot Rods in the Park Car Show — Larkspur

The Vintage Car Club of Castle Rock hosts the annual Hot Rods in the Park Car Show on the grass at Larkspur Community Park (8820 Spruce Mountain Rd, Larkspur). Open to all makes and model years of cars and trucks. Free for spectators; $30 cash/check entry fee for cars (day-of registration only, no pre-registration, limited to the first 100 cars). Car staging starts at 8 AM, show runs 10 AM to 2 PM. Awards include Best of Show, Mayor's Choice, Fire Chief (Hottest Car), Dash Plaques for every registered participant, plus 11 class awards (1949 & Older Original/Modified through 2020-Present, plus separate truck/Jeep/Bronco/FJ classes). Live music, beer, and local restaurants on-site. Tents allowed around the perimeter only with 40lb corner weights — no ground stakes. Trailers offload at 8720 Spruce Mountain Road, just north of the park. The club's Give Back Program donates $1,000 to charity.
