Public Lands Day Volunteer Project at Lost Canyon Ranch

Celebrate National Public Lands Day at the Town's newest open space. Volunteers are needed from 9am to noon to help remove barbed wire fencing near the Cattleman's Trailhead, work that improves wildlife habitat and lets local species move more freely across the property.

Registration is required through Volunteer Castle Rock, and volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Meet at the Cattleman's Trailhead parking lot at the top of the property, about a mile up the dirt road. Tools, gloves and snacks are provided, and participation counts toward community service hours.
