Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest in Downtown Castle Rock, produced by the Downtown Merchants Association, at Wilcox Square (300 Second St.) on Saturday September 19 from 1pm to 9pm. Free to attend and no ticket is required.

Schedule. Keg tapping ceremony at 1pm, Castle Rock Dance Academy 1:15-2:15pm, Neue Polka 2:30-6:45pm, and DJ Markus closing out the night 7-9pm. Stein hoisting competitions run at 2:20pm, 3:20pm, 4:20pm and 5:20pm, sponsored by PNC Bank.

More than twenty beverage providers pour, including Woods Boss, Alidade, Elizabeth Brewing, Wild Blue Yonder, Platt Park, 105 West, Lone Tree Brewing, Rockyard, Danico, Great Divide, Ratio, Wibby, Eddyline, Station 26 and Locavore, plus Molly Brown Spirits, Bear'L Cellars and Purgatory Cellars Winery, Stem Ciders and Best Day Brewing for non-alcoholic beer. Sixteen food trucks are on site including Bohemian Wurst, Berliner Haus, Pierogies Factory, Woodhill BBQ, Lazo Empanadas, Castle Cafe and Glacier Homemade Ice Cream.

Kids get free bounce houses, a rock wall and inflatable games. Vendor booths run all afternoon.

Parking. Encore Parking Garage, Philip & Jerry Miller Library, Douglas County Garage, the Douglas County School District lot and The View at Castle Rock garage.

No ticket needed. 16 food trucks (Bohemian Wurst, Berliner Haus, Pierogies Factory, Woodhill BBQ and more) and 20+ beverage providers including Alidade, 105 West, Wild Blue Yonder and Rockyard.
