Castle Rock Trail Festival and liveBIG Family Adventure Run

Challenge yourself on Castle Rock's ridgeline trail system. This athletic event has something for everyone — from ultra-distance runners to families with children ages 5 to 12. Participants explore the trails of Miller Park and Ridgeline Open Space, pushing their limits in the longer races or taking on the family-friendly obstacle course at the liveBIG Family Adventure Run.

Race options and pricing (all-in, taxes and fees included): liveBIG Family Adventure Run $33.42, Miller Park 5K $49.90, Ridgeline 10K $61.23, Ridgeline Trail Half Marathon $81.83, Ridgeline 50K $113.75.

Start times: 6 a.m. packet pickup and walk-up registration, 7:30 a.m. 50K, 8:30 a.m. Half Marathon, 9 a.m. 10K, 9:30 a.m. 5K, 10:30 a.m. liveBIG Family Adventure Run, 3:30 p.m. finish line closes.

Online registration closes Monday, Sept. 28. Race-day registration is available at the event, but fees increase by $15 for all races except the Family Adventure Run. Every participant gets an event T-shirt and finisher's medal, chip timing, and free photo downloads. The 50K has an 8-hour time limit. All liveBIG proceeds go to the Town's Therapeutic Recreation Program.
