Connor’s Visit (January 2026): “I stopped by a TAP Talk at Tri Arts Project this past week, not totally sure what I was walking into, and ended up staying about an hour. Even if you do not consider yourself artsy, there was plenty to enjoy. Wine, beer, seltzers, cookies, and small bites, plus a relaxed setup that made it easy to walk around and actually take it all in. The artists talked about their work, judges selected three winners, and yes, there was real prize money involved… It was welcoming, low pressure, and honestly a great way to meet new people.” (Castle Rock Crew, January 20, 2026)

Tri Arts Project (TAP) is a nonprofit arts organization based in the Cantril School Building at 312 Cantril St in Castle Rock. In its own words: “We believe art has the power to inspire, connect, and transform communities. As a nonprofit, we are dedicated to providing space and opportunities for the education, creation, and presentation of the arts.”

What To Expect:

🎨 Classes across painting, drawing and lettering, 3D art, crafts, creative writing, photography and film, textile and fiber art, music, performing arts, and art theory and business, with “over 150 opportunities to explore”

As we reported it: TAP is a 501(c)(3) founded in Castle Rock in 2022 by a small group of women who saw the need for a unifying center for the arts, at a time when residents drove 20 to 30 miles for art classes. (Castle Rock Crew, February 18, 2025)
