About

The Hot Spot Studios is a walk-in paint-your-own-pottery and craft studio at 729 Barranca Drive #107 in Castle Rock, and it is the first Hot Spot Studios location in Colorado. It opened Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The California-based franchise has 52 locations nationally, and this is the one that landed in Douglas County.

The studio is built around seven kinds of projects: pottery painting, canvas painting, candle making, mosaics, fairy gardens, slime, and body scrubs. Everything is finished the same day except pottery, which is glazed and kiln-fired and ready to pick up a few days later. There are also take-home To-Go kits if you would rather craft at your own table.
