📰 In our guide: Douglas County Nonprofits: Where to Volunteer, Give and Visit
Connor’s Visit (2026): We went to Harvest Day on Saturday, September 26, right after Gilly’s and a coffee at Oo•de•Lally. It was a $1 minimum donation per person at the gate. We took the tractor hay ride (someone rode along in a cow suit), met the two donkeys and the goats, saw the pigs in the barn, and watched a rooster strut down the ramp from the old house they turned into a chicken coop.
