The Rotary Club of Parker is taking nominations for the 2027 Parker Impact Awards, presented each year at the Town's annual State of the Town event. Nominations opened Nov. 2, 2026 and close Jan. 15, 2027, at 11:59pm MT.

Two Awards

  • Foundation Impact Award: for long-term service that built Parker's past. Nominees typically have served for about 10 or more years.
  • Horizon Impact Award: for current work shaping Parker's future. Nominees usually have active work from roughly the last five years.

The committee may reassign a nomination to whichever award fits better.

Who Can Be Nominated

Nominees must have made their impact in the Greater Parker Area, which includes the Town of Parker and nearby communities such as Stonegate, The Pinery and Pradera. They don't need to live in Parker, and posthumous nominations are accepted. Both individuals and groups, including nonprofits, businesses and volunteer teams, are eligible, and Town staff may be nominated by others, though not by the Town itself.

Not eligible: current active Rotary Club of Parker members, the current Mayor and Town Council members, past Impact Award recipients, and self-nominations, including a group nominated by its own officers, board or staff.

Anyone may nominate, including Town Councilmembers and directors, through a short online form that takes about 15 minutes.

How Winners Are Picked

A Rotary Club committee reviews nominations confidentially, and members step aside from nominees they have personal or business ties to. The committee selects recipients in late January 2027 and notifies them privately. Only recipients are contacted, and every nominator receives a thank-you.

The Town promotes the awards and coordinates the presentation but doesn't take part in selection. Recipients are honored Feb. 25, 2027, at the State of the Town.
