Recreation Head Coach/Instructor (PT)- Cheerleading

About the Role

As the Recreation Head Coach/Instructor for Cheerleading, you will be responsible for organizing and leading cheerleading activities for youth. Your role will focus on fostering inclusivity and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement structured lesson plans for cheerleading activities.
• Design inclusive programming accommodating diverse participant needs.
• Lead and supervise assistant coaches and volunteers.
• Conduct regular safety checks before and after activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate schedules and updates to participants and parents.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; two years of experience in coaching or recreational programming.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Completion of concussion recognition training within 90 days of hire.
