Unit Secretary- ER

About the Role

As a Unit Secretary with HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge, you will oversee office supply inventory, room utilization, and audio/visual equipment utilization. You will provide clerical support for the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Risk Management & Safety while coordinating special projects as assigned and interacting with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office supply inventory.
• Manage room and audio/visual equipment utilization.
• Provide clerical support to the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Risk Management & Safety.
• Coordinate special projects as assigned.
• Assist in the completion of department assignments.
• Interact with physicians, hospital directors, employees, patients, and families.

Requirements

• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of Unit Secretary or medical terminology course preferred.
• Unit Secretary experience preferred.
• Experience with computers and medical terminology required.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks.
