Registered Nurse Operating Room

About the Role

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be part of an amazing interdisciplinary team environment. You will prepare for each procedure and assist with post procedure workloads while contributing to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each procedure by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment are available.
• Assist with post procedure workload including cleaning the room between procedures.
• Teach and supervise staff members according to their competency levels.
• Rotate to areas other than the Operating Room as directed.
• Delegate tasks to colleagues based on demonstrated competencies.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or active multi-state license.
• Basic Life Support certification from recognized provider.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the perioperative setting required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
