Pharmacy Technician I

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you'll work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and be involved in various pharmaceutical preparation and distribution tasks. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmaceutical preparation and distribution functions
• Handle non-sterile compounding
• Stock automated dispensing cabinets
• Deliver medications to patient care areas
• Check medication storage areas for outdates
• Assist with billing and other assigned duties

Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent Certificate
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
