Registered Nurse Operating Room STJ

About the Role

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team environment. You will contribute to the success of patient care by preparing for surgeries and assisting in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized OR Nurse skills to serve various age groups.
• Prepare for each procedure by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment.
• Assist with post-procedure tasks including cleaning and setting up for next procedures.
• Teach and supervise staff according to their competency levels.
• Perform rotations in areas other than OR as needed.

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN licensure or active multi-state RN license.
• BLS certification from recognized body.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the OR setting.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.
