Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology

About the Role

As an Interventional Radiology Specialist II RN, you will play a critical role in patient care, serving as a patient advocate and ensuring quality nursing care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedure care, all while contributing to a compassionate healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures by verifying medical history and lab results
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
• Administer conscious sedation drugs and supervise patient comfort
• Provide post-procedure monitoring and care
• Ensure safety measures are in place for patients
• Develop systems for ongoing patient care quality

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current Colorado Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
• 2+ years of critical care experience preferred
• Ability to function independently and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication skills
