Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient organization of the specimen procurement and processing area.
• Interfacing with other departments and medical offices to collect specimens.
• Answering telephone inquiries about specimen collection.
• Perform general laboratory duties for quality service.
• Provide assistance with age-related techniques in specimen collection.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a hospital laboratory desirable but not necessary.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
