About the Role

As a Nurse Extern, you will gain hands-on experience as part of the nursing team. Your role will be crucial in delivering compassionate care to patients while you develop skills and confidence for your nursing career.

Responsibilities

• Providing essential care for patients by helping with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Performing nursing tasks like wound care and catheter care as you gain experience
• Documenting care accurately and communicating updates with the nursing team
• Helping patients and families understand care plans and offering guidance
• Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment by following infection prevention practices
• Engaging in learning opportunities to enhance patient care and personal development

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year experience required
