Medical Assistant with Travel

About the Role

This role primarily operates between two locations with approximately 50% of time spent at each location. Additional travel may be required. HCA Healthcare has committed significant resources to support our team members.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and canceling patient appointments
• Checking-in and checking-out patients
• Entering charges and payments
• Verifying patient insurance and demographics
• Collecting co-payments and personal balances
• Assisting nursing staff with selected administrative duties

Requirements

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 60 days if recently graduated
