About the Role

The Medical Assistant will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care. This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team to support patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and canceling patient appointments
• Checking-in and checking-out patients
• Entering charges and payments
• Verifying patient insurance and demographics
• Collecting co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances.
• Assisting nursing staff with various duties

Requirements

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA).
• Candidates must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 60 days of employment if not already certified.
