Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee 24-hour operations of Labor & Delivery and Antepartum Services. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of patient and employee satisfaction while demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems for high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Assume accountability for operations of Labor & Delivery.
• Ensure adequate staffing and maintain productivity standards.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and care.
• Participate in hospital committees and facilitate unit meetings.
• Develop strategic plans for OB Services.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
