KBG - Preconstruction Sponsor

About the Role

The Preconstruction Sponsor is responsible for the accuracy and administering the completion of all aspects of an estimate opportunity, including the development, and owning the project execution plan. The targeted markets include but are not limited to vertical, commercial, and data center construction

Responsibilities

• Participate in a win strategy meeting in developing a capture plan with business development and senior management
• Review the RFP and work with estimating department management to assemble resources for an opportunity
• Develop and maintain the bid proposal schedule
• Meet the client, and attend pre-job meetings / site walks as necessary
• Determine geotechnical conditions early on and the need for test holes
• Schedule and facilitate estimate progress and review meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering / Technology and may be substituted with extensive and related work experience
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in significant vertical and/or commercial construction
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal, organization and leadership skills
• Exceptionally strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work on a team as well as work independently with little or no supervision
