About the Role

As a Patient Care Assistant at UCHealth, you will provide essential support to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Your role will involve monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal care, and ensuring a safe and clean care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the delegation and supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Gather vital signs and measure blood glucose.
• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Help keep the care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Collaborate with ancillary team members to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
