About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for pediatric patients. This position demands a strong understanding of pharmacotherapy and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information services regarding medication compatibilities and therapeutic uses.
• Implements quality and safety initiatives and practices in the department.
• Delivers pharmaceutical care for pediatric patients during multi-disciplinary team rounds.
• Participates in general pharmacy operations including medication preparation and dispensing.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
• Completion of one year pharmacy residency or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification.
• State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Pharmacist license.
