Eating gluten-free in Douglas County means more than finding a menu with a “GF” symbol next to a few items. We checked every bakery and restaurant below on its own website for an actual gluten-free menu, a specialty bakery, or a specific allergy statement, and grouped the ones that held up by town.

Verified on each business's own website as of October 2026. Listed here does not mean certified celiac-safe.
Each entry below is either a bakery that specializes in allergy-friendly, gluten-free baking, or a restaurant with gluten-free menu options marked on its own menu. None of these businesses states on its own site that it runs a 100% gluten-free kitchen or a gluten-free-only fryer, so we don’t label any of them that way. A business claiming gluten-free options on a review site, with nothing matching on its own site, is left off this list.
Local tip: If you have celiac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity, call ahead and ask directly about shared fryers, shared grills, and cross-contamination protocols. A gluten-free menu item is not automatically a celiac-safe one.
Castle Rock
No Cow Cafe Gluten & Dairy Free Bakery
Specializes in allergy-friendly gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan baked goods, with no tree nuts used except coconut. Soy-free and corn-free options also available. Call ahead to confirm cross-contact practices if you have celiac disease.

Courtyard Social
Its own menu marks house and specialty oysters, smoked wings, seasonal hummus, and the Caesar and smoked salmon salads GF. Any burger or flatbread can add a gluten-free bun or flatbread for $2, and the fish and chips is made gluten-friendly with a gluten-free beer batter.
The Cake Company

Local tip: No verified gluten-free listing turned up this round for Lone Tree or Castle Pines. We checked Cranelli's Italian Restaurant (Lone Tree) and Danielle's Scratch Kitchen (Castle Rock near the Castle Pines line), but neither had a gluten-free statement we could confirm directly on their own site. We will add them once that verification comes through.
