How it works

1. Tell us about the event. Name, date and time, venue, a link for tickets or details, a photo or flyer if you have one.

2. Pay $50. Secure card checkout through Stripe. You get an email confirming we have it.

3. We review it within 48 hours. Once approved it sits in the Featured slot at the top of the events page through your date and goes into the next newsletter that covers your date. If we can’t run it, we refund the full amount.

How fast is it reviewed?

We review every paid listing within 48 hours. You get an email when it is live, or a full refund if we can't run it.

What kinds of events do you run?

Events open to the public in Douglas County: live music, markets, festivals, food and drink, family days, classes, fundraisers, sports, community gatherings. We don't run political events or anything outside the county.

Which newsletter will it be in?

We publish two: the Castle Rock Crew and the DougCo Drop. Your event goes in the next issue that covers your town and your date.

Can I list a recurring or multi-day event?

Yes. Give the first and last date and describe the schedule in the description. One listing covers one run.

What photo should I send?

Your own flyer or a photo you have the rights to, landscape if you have one, at least 1200px wide. JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, under 4 MB. No photo is fine too.
