About This Event
The 62nd annual Colorado Highland Games, put on by the St. Andrew Society of Colorado, returns to the Denver Polo Club at 6359 Airport Road in Sedalia, about 30 minutes from downtown Denver. Saturday September 26 runs 9am to 8pm and Sunday September 27 runs 9am to 5pm.
Two days of Scottish athletics, bagpipe and traditional dance competitions, whisky tastings, clan and genealogy tents, living history and re-enactments, Scottish and Irish music, Celtic merchandise, beer and food vendors, children's activities, dogs and cars. It is a family event, and while the flavor is Scottish there is something there for every age group.
Admission. Adults 18 to 54 are $25 for a single day or $45 for the weekend. Kids 7 to 17, seniors 55 and up, and active-duty military are $20 a day or $35 for the weekend. Children under 7 get in free. A Family 4-Pack covering two adults and two children is $80 for a single day or $145 for the weekend. All prices are before ticketing fees.
Parking. $5 per day if you pre-pay online. Day-of parking at the gate is cash only, so bring bills if you have not bought ahead.
Free with admission. A Highland Dress and Celtic Weaponry presentation by Don Lowe at 10am Saturday in the Whisky Seminar tent. Space is limited.
Whisky seminars are ticketed separately and do not include festival admission. Guests must be 21 or older and seating is limited. Whisky Tasting Seminars run Saturday at 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm and Sunday at 2:30pm, $35 each. A Scotch Whisky and Chocolate Pairing hosted by Rick Ewing runs Sunday at 1pm for $65, pairing selected whiskies with chocolate to bring out the flavors in each dram.
Thistle Club VIP is $150 and is 21 and up, open Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm. It covers weekend admission and VIP parking, a welcome reception each morning, a standard whisky seminar ticket, a haggis sample, a meat and cheese board, a private bar with beer, cider, wine and a specialty cocktail, and a commemorative gift.
Merchandise can be pre-ordered with your tickets: the 2026 Games t-shirt is $25 and an 18oz 2026 beer mug is $20, which includes the first fill. Pick both up at the St. Andrew Society of Colorado tent during the weekend. There is no shipping.
