5th Annual BOO! at Roxborough State Park

Roxborough State Park's 5th Annual BOO! is a family-friendly trick-or-treat walk through the park's red-rock formations — kids wear costumes (optional) and trick-or-treat at educational stations covering bats, spiders, skulls, owls, vultures/ravens, poisonous plants and the red “witch rock” formation. This year's event partners with the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance, who bring live animal ambassadors from their wildlife rehabilitation center. Nature doesn't have to be scary! Free to attend; a park entrance pass is required for admission to Roxborough State Park ($4 individual daily pass; $10 Colorado-plate vehicle pass; $15 out-of-state vehicle pass).
