About This Event
Multi-platinum indie pop band Fitz and The Tantrums headline a special Colorado Day show on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with special guests Sun Room at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Gates open at 6 p.m., the opener takes the stage at 7 p.m., and Fitz and The Tantrums perform at 8:30 p.m. on their Man On The Moon tour.
The night doubles as Castle Rock's America 250 / Colorado 150 milestone celebration β a once-in-a-generation tribute to 250 years of America and 150 years of Colorado statehood, under the summer sky. Expect Colorado-pride touches and special programming throughout the evening alongside the headline performance.
Fronted by Michael 'Fitz' Fitzpatrick and co-lead vocalist Noelle Scaggs, with Joseph Karnes, James King, and Jeremy Ruzumna rounding out the band, Fitz and The Tantrums are the act behind irresistible hooks 'Out of My League,' 'The Walker,' and 'HandClap.' Their sixth studio album Man On The Moon (2025) marks a creative reset β a confident return to the heart-driven songwriting that built their following, with bold new directions on tracks like 'Ruin The Night' and the Motown-inspired title song. Sixteen years into a career that has spanned platinum certifications and major headlining slots, the band still measures success in creative fulfillment over chart metrics.
Sun Room opens the night with the high-energy West Coast indie rock that has made the band a Spotify and TikTok breakout.
