Kold Prairie Mead, the small-batch meadery run by Kris and Karen Pruitt, is opening a mead bar in the East Main development on Parker's Mainstreet, part of Confluence Companies' "My Mainstreet" redevelopment. Kold Prairie Mead grew out of the couple's beekeeping and honey business and is based in Elizabeth, Colorado, with a lineup of about a dozen meads (Evermore, Sienna, Radiance and more).
The Parker location is a bar that will serve their mead rather than produce it on site. Kold Prairie Mead is listed among the coming-soon commercial tenants on the developer's site (mymainstreetparker.com); an opening date has not been announced.

Good to Know: The owners plan a western, saloon-style space (roughly 1,300 square feet, with saloon tables and movable seating) and are working with an architect on the layout, so the final look and capacity are still being finalized.
