About the Role

The Interventional Rad Tech performs complex diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile field, ensuring proper technique, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers.
Monitor patient conditions and provide direct care.
Maintain accurate documentation within medical record systems.
Position patients and equipment correctly for imaging.
Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
High School diploma or equivalent (required).
1+ years of experience in Radiology (preferred).
Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) certification (required).
Basic Life Support – CPR certification (required).

Compensation

Base pay: $32.53 - $60.50/hr
