About the Role

The Interventional Rad Tech performs complex diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile field, ensuring proper technique, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient conditions and provide direct care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within medical record systems.
  • Position patients and equipment correctly for imaging.
  • Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 1+ years of experience in Radiology (preferred).
  • Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) certification (required).
  • Basic Life Support – CPR certification (required).

Compensation

  • Base pay: $32.53 - $60.50/hr
