RN Surgical Oncology

About the Role

As a RN Surgical Oncology, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to patients, influencing their treatment outcomes. Working closely with a collaborative care team, you will assess and advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and scheduled shifts.
• Perform procedures and document care accurately in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address their needs.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions and follow-up measures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
