About the Role
As an OR Registered Nurse, you'll be part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Your specialized skills will serve various patient age groups, contributing to surgical services in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for surgical procedures by ensuring necessary equipment is ready.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing post-procedure environments.
- Teach and supervise healthcare staff according to competency levels.
- Contribute to the overall patient care experience in the operating room.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Minimum one year of experience in the perioperative setting.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- CNOR certification preferred.
