MRI Technologist

About the Role

As a technologist, you will operate MRI scanners and ensure that high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnosis. This role involves interviewing patients and managing their needs throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the procedure type.
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to their needs.
• Complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Requirements

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred.
