Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Facilities

About the Role

The role involves providing mechanical design solutions for industrial facilities. Candidates should be experienced in delivering specifications, sizing components, and developing related documentation for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, coordination, and oversight of various mechanical systems typical for biogas and wastewater treatment.
• Perform design calculations and equipment specifications for industrial facilities.
• Coordinate and communicate project’s mechanical design within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Review project contracts and other documents to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage design partners including construction partners and equipment suppliers.
• Generate deliverables such as PFD’s, P&ID’s, and vendor shop drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical design for data centers preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
