About the Role
The role involves providing mechanical design solutions for industrial facilities. Candidates should be experienced in delivering specifications, sizing components, and developing related documentation for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide design, coordination, and oversight of various mechanical systems typical for biogas and wastewater treatment.
- Perform design calculations and equipment specifications for industrial facilities.
- Coordinate and communicate project’s mechanical design within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Review project contracts and other documents to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage design partners including construction partners and equipment suppliers.
- Generate deliverables such as PFD’s, P&ID’s, and vendor shop drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience with mechanical design for data centers preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
